The theatre is located in the Performing Arts and Languages (PAL) building. It is a purpose built theatre with seating that can be pulled out for performances or kept tucked away to enable the full theatre floor space to be used. The theatre can also be hired as three separate drama studios, please see FAQ’s for more details.

How many can you seat in the Theatre?
The tiered pull out seating allows for 226 people to be seated comfortably. We do have an additional 100 chairs available if need be.
Can you hire just one part of the Theatre?
Yes, the theatre can be split into three separate drama studios using sliding walls. This allows you to hire up to three separate rooms for rehearsals or other purposes. Each space has it’s own lighting.
Do you have sound and lighting available?
Yes, we have sound and lighting available in each part of the theatre. We also have a sound and lighting operations booth. You are able to hire an operator from us for your performance, please just get in touch with us.
