It has been an incredible season for the Year 8 rugby team. Previously rugby hadn’t been a sport that the school had excelled in, however, the dedication, together and progression has set a new precedent.
Successes
We had lots going on for World Book Day on the 8th March. Thank you to everyone that got involved, whether dressing up, exploring new books and genres in class or taking part in our quiz, it was a great day!
We are delighted to share that the Rushcliffe Spencer Academy netball team have been crowned U19 Regional Champions at the England Netball National Schools competition. The eight strong squad visited Oundle in Peterborough for the East Midlands Finals where they battled against the best teams from the county. The field was incredibly strong and competition great but the girls put on a fantastic performance.
The International School Award celebrates the achievements of schools that do exceptional work in international education, and so it is with great pride that Rushcliffe Spencer Academy has received such high re-accreditation this year.
