A group of Rushcliffe pupils have recently launched an online newspaper called Students Speak. The paper will be published every three weeks with a variety of articles ranging from school based topics to worldwide news, with its main aim to give students a voice and a place to raise issues important to them.

Adult Carers, Young Carers and families are all welcome to join in activities, hosted by TuVida this December. There are virtual festive activities, training, games with prizes and much more!
Today is Tune Up Tuesday. A day to celebrate and support the Arts Industry. In school today, students have participated in short Upskill arts activities and watched short Upcoming interviews with arts professionals including Greg Davies, Dame Darcey Bussell and British photographer Rankin.
As a way of providing stimulating and engaging opportunities beyond the core curriculum all y12 students take part in an enrichment activity.
Although the pandemic has prevented our regular annual visit from ASSET we are delighted to be showing ASSET’s video presentation to our current Y12 students this week to inform them about the charity’s vital work and give them the opportunity to register for the programme.
We are delighted to announce that hard work by our Eco Reps, with support from the wider community of Rushcliffe School students & staff, has been recognised by Eco Schools and awarded the top Green Flag Award.
We are delighted to share the news that we have received the Career Mark Gold award for our continuous good practice. This is our third successful assessment since our first accreditation in 2015.

Our first of many UCAS (Universities and Colleges Admissions Service) applications for our Y13 cohort was sent on October 1st! Mr Roberts, Head of Year 13 commented “I look forward to sending many more in the coming days with the Early Entry deadline of Oct 15th rapidly approaching.”
