Eco Reps plant over 100 further trees

Rushcliffe Eco Reps, with the help of the Year 12 Eco Ambassadors, have been busy planting more trees on the school site. The Woodland Trust trees were applied for as part of our ongoing environmental/sustainability eco work at the school with the aim of increasing biodiversity but also increasing student engagement with the environment, climate and wider world around them.

Last year the Eco Committee planted 420 trees and this year have been sent 135 more trees and hedgerow to plant, including Sessile Oak, Silver Birch and Crab Apple to name just a few. Read more about the Eco Committee here: http://rushcliffespencer.com/eco-school/
