A reminder that we have a Careers and Wellbeing event running on Wednesday 11th January. Years 12 and 13 have the opportunity to visit the fair during their lunch break (or their study period for Sixth Form pupils) and all students can also attend from the end of the school day.
All pupils and parents/carers are welcome to visit the Careers Fair at any time from 3.30pm until 4.30pm. This is a great opportunity to find out about local colleges, universities and employer offers so you can support your child with their career aspirations. There will also be an opportunity to attend presentations from ASK Apprenticeships at 3.30pm and 4.00pm, covering all levels of apprenticeships from intermediate to degree; this session is open to all pupils and parents/carers.
Our Wellbeing Team will also be running a rolling presentation for parents/carers from 4.00pm until 4.30pm and 4.45pm until 5.15pm which will include introductions to the team, sharing information on how they can support pupils, why mental health and wellbeing is important in an education setting and signposting to useful webinars. There will also be the chance to speak to the team on a one-to-one basis after each presentation.
Please contact careers@rushcliffespencer.com if you have any questions.
