Let’s Go Zero 2030

In support of our new core value “We care for our world”, Rushcliffe School has recently signed up to join the ‘Let’s Go Zero 2030’, full details of which may be found online: UK Climate Change • Lets Go Zero. The site is full of useful information in support of our longer term ambition to head towards net-zero carbon over the next 9 years. There is also an article on Let’s Go Zero 2030 in the current issue of Educate, the NEU magazine if you would like to read a bit more about it.

We are also now able to access Transform Our World , a quality-rated resource hub to help teachers bring environmental action into the classroom. Their website is full of free, practical resources that are curriculum – linked and low prep, which will really help the school to do as much as we can to reach our target.

Also in support of “We care for our world”, we are currently working on a draft Environmental Sustainability Policy and Action Plan. Please do share your thoughts via the school reception email on anything you feel we ought to be doing to improve the environmental credentials of the school if you haven’t already.
