Welcome to Rushcliffe Spencer Academy
Rushcliffe is a successful, vibrant and friendly place for pupils and staff alike. We have a simple core purpose – ‘everyone will be given the chance to shine brightly’ – and this underpins everything we do. We seek out any opportunity to showcase the talents and abilities of our pupils in order that they can be happy, healthy and successful now and in the future.
Rushcliffe has been recognised as outstanding in all areas by Ofsted. The school was accredited as a World Class School in 2015 and re-accredited again in 2018 and 2021. However, we are committed to continual improvement and want to ensure that provision for our current pupils is the best it possibly can be.
We are proud to serve our local community. We are committed to excellence in the education we provide but also in the care and support we give to pupils and their families.

We came 2nd in the Athletics competition last week! Losing out only by a few points but overall a fantastic effort from all students involved and we have 17 students that have qualified to represent Rushcliffe Area at the County Athletics Championships in June at Newark! 🏃♀️🏃👏
It’s all getting a bit competitive at our @SpencerSuperS charity quiz night! Thanks to all our friends at the @PoppyandPint for their hospitality. pic.twitter.com/MZnbIhhfKT
